General Education Program
The general education portion of a degree program allows students to broaden their understanding of the world and culture around them. The general education component of each program is designed to meet the goals of the college’s general education program as well as standards for accreditation.
Everest College Phoenix believes that general education is the hallmark of both diploma and degree programs. Students use these foundational skills to build upon as they advance in their continued education, careers or personal endeavors.
Students receiving a degree from Everest College Phoenix must complete all of the general education courses included in their specific program as listed in the campus catalog. Students must also complete an e-Core Learning Portfolio or Academic Writing Portfolio to fulfill graduation requirements.
The general education courses required may vary depending on program and location. To complete their programs in the shortest time possible, students must take advantage of the courses offered at the specified scheduled time either onground or online.
